My analytical mind is naturally drawn to understanding how things function and why. When I paint, I’m drawn to the tensions between intuition and analysis. I’m curious about how color, marks and composition interact, shift and influence one another. Painting invites me into the unknown, where I can respond to what emerges.

By following my intuition, I allow myself to get lost in the process by pushing color, adding marks, removing layers and disrupting the composition to find balance, movement, energy and harmony.
